About the role
The Clinical Research Specialist I will support the Healthy Brain Aging Program, a structured initiative that delivers psycho‑education and lifestyle interventions to promote brain health and lower dementia risk. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Brighton, NY, and works closely with the Neurology Memory Care department.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with participant enrollment by contacting referrals, scheduling appointments, and maintaining communication throughout the program.
- Coordinate group sessions, including curriculum development, material preparation, space booking, and logistical support.
- Track referrals and enrollment metrics in collaboration with Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology and Memory Care providers.
- Support research activities related to the program and contribute to future expansion and scalability plans.
- Gradually assume responsibility for delivering portions of the program content after training.
Required profile
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented with strong patient‑focused communication skills.
- Interest in brain health, aging, and clinical research.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, researchers, and participants.
- Willingness to learn and eventually present program material.
