Corporate Tax Assistant Manager – Film & TV

About the role

We are looking for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our fast‑growing tax team that supports film and TV clients. The role combines client‑facing tax compliance, advisory work and the management of a diverse portfolio of UK and international companies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tax compliance services, including corporate tax returns, tax credit claims and tax accounting.
• Conduct detailed technical research and respond to ad‑hoc client queries.
• Identify advisory opportunities within the assigned client portfolio.
• Supervise, mentor and review the work of junior team members.
• Provide advice on complex areas such as capital allowances, R&D tax relief, transfer pricing, Substantial Shareholdings Exemption, Controlled Foreign Companies, Corporate Interest Restriction, withholding tax and double taxation relief.

Required profile

• ACA or CTA qualified with solid corporation tax experience.
• Strong UK tax technical knowledge and ability to analyse complex queries.
• Project‑management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Experience or interest in the film & TV sector is desirable.
