Desktop Support Engineer – End‑User Computing & MDM Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in Livingston. The role focuses on end‑user computing, desktop migration, VIP support and modern device management using Intune and JAMF. You will work on‑site, providing hands‑on technical assistance and contributing to large‑scale Windows and macOS migrations.

Key responsibilities

• Build, install and configure PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripherals.
• Provide first‑line advice, incident resolution and routine maintenance for Windows and macOS environments.
• Migrate workstations from Windows XP/7 to newer Windows platforms.
• Deliver IMAC services and VIP desktop support, including Mac troubleshooting.
• Manage device fleets through Microsoft Intune and JAMF, covering iOS, Android and Windows devices.
• Integrate Apple DEP/VPP and maintain MDM/MAM policies.
• Produce progress reports and present improvement proposals to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and maintaining desktop infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS troubleshooting.
• Ability to document technical issues clearly for end‑users and senior staff.
• Experience with device migration projects and VIP support.
