Director - Loan Capital Markets and Distribution

About the role

This senior position sits within the Loan Capital Markets and Distribution team of a leading international corporate and investment bank in London. The Director will lead investor coverage, drive primary and secondary loan distribution, and support origination across real estate, project finance and structured finance loan products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coverage of banks, credit insurers and institutional investors.
• Drive distribution of primary loan transactions and manage sell‑down processes.
• Source and execute secondary trades to aid balance‑sheet management.
• Collaborate with loan capital markets and origination teams on structuring, pricing and market positioning.
• Provide market intelligence, liquidity analysis and investor feedback for live deals.
• Support strategic initiatives such as syndications across real assets, infrastructure and broader sectors.
• Work with global teams to ensure coordinated investor engagement.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of European loan markets, especially infrastructure, project finance, real estate or leveraged finance.
• Proven track record of client‑facing, revenue‑generating deal distribution.
• Established relationships with institutional investors and a history of successful transaction execution.
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to influence structuring and pricing decisions.
• Proactive, relationship‑led mindset and ability to operate across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, deal‑driven environment.
