About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Early Years Teachers to provide flexible, daily cover across a range of primary schools in Hackney. The role allows you to choose the days you are available and offers both short‑term and longer‑term placements, giving you valuable experience in diverse school settings.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate EYFS lessons and activities.
- Follow existing planning and adapt learning activities to meet individual children’s needs.
- Support children’s early development, learning progress and wellbeing.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive relationships.
- Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage children’s confidence, independence and curiosity.
- Collaborate with school staff to support pupils’ wellbeing.
Required profile
- Reliable and enthusiastic teachers with a passion for early years education.
- Flexible availability to cover days as needed, including short‑term and longer‑term assignments.
