Employer's Agent – Residential Development (London)

About the role

This position is with a market‑leading property and construction consultancy, supporting major residential regeneration and new‑build schemes across London and the South East. You will manage your own portfolio of projects from pre‑construction through to completion, working closely with housing associations, local authorities and private developers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Employer's Agent on major new‑build residential schemes.
• Manage projects from pre‑construction through to completion, including programming, planning and monitoring.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Chair project and progress meetings and coordinate clients, contractors and consultants.
• Conduct site visits, report on construction progress, quality, programme and risk.
• Administer valuations, certificates and notices.
• Provide technical advice to clients and support bid preparation for new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Employer's Agent or client‑side Project Manager on residential developments.
• Background in new‑build, affordable housing, S106, land‑led or regeneration projects.
• Familiarity with JCT Design & Build contracts and Development Agreements.
• Ability to manage contractors, consultant teams and stakeholder relationships.
