Employment Tax Senior Associate

About the role

The Employer Solutions team in London is looking for an Employment Tax Senior Associate to support advisory projects and client engagements. You will work on a range of tax and payroll matters while contributing to business development and junior staff coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advisory projects covering PAYE/NIC, benefits, expenses, termination payments, cost‑reduction/reward strategy, employment status (IR35, Umbrella), CIS, NMW and payroll governance.
• Assist with PSAs, P11D reviews, employer compliance checks and year‑end processes.
• Prepare and review advisory notes, calculations, technical reports and HMRC correspondence.
• Support business development activities and client relationship management.
• Review work prepared by junior colleagues, providing coaching and feedback.

Required profile

• Part‑ or fully‑qualified in ATT or CTA.
• Strong employment tax knowledge and practical experience.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
