About the role
Join Reed Further Education as an Exams Invigilator on a part‑time, temporary basis in Carshalton. You will support learners by ensuring examinations are conducted smoothly, safely, and in line with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and observe students throughout the examination period.
- Set up and prepare the examination room before each session.
- Distribute any additional resources or materials required for the exam.
- Ensure the exam is run under proper conditions and all rules are followed.
- Report any issues or irregularities to the exams officer promptly.
Required profile
- Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Understanding of how examinations are organised and run.
- Clear and effective communication with pupils and staff.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Comfortable with scribing if required.
