Facilities Supervisor – Science Park

About the role

The Facilities Supervisor will work closely with the Customer & Community Operations Manager to maintain high standards across Melbourn Science Park. This full‑time, onsite role ensures a safe, efficient environment for tenants and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Facilities Team and implement new processes to improve service delivery.
• Oversee health and safety compliance, ensuring all regulations are met.
• Maintain building management systems and monitor contract performance.
• Collaborate with Community, Technical, Risk and Asset Management teams for a unified approach.
• Identify and implement cost‑effective improvements to service operations.
• Coach, develop and mentor team members to achieve first‑time fix targets.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of health and safety procedures and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead a small facilities team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and proactive problem‑solving.
• Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Computer literate with experience navigating online systems and portals.
