Facilities Tradesperson – Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Role

About the role

As a Facilities Multi‑Skilled Tradesperson you will support the Central Engineering & Facilities team across CooperVision’s UK sites, ensuring efficient operations, minimal downtime and high productivity in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to Facilities Helpdesk requests and complete maintenance tasks within agreed timescales.
• Carry out routine and complex maintenance activities, including electrical, plumbing, general building and carpentry work.
• Support Shift Engineers and assist with maintenance across production and office areas.
• Liaise with contractors, supervisors and managers to coordinate safe and effective maintenance and contract work.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in a facilities maintenance or skilled trades role, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and contractor management.
• Effective communication with colleagues at all levels.
