Family Office Tax Manager

About the role

Agreus Limited is a London‑based single family office seeking a technically strong and commercially minded Tax Manager. Reporting directly to the CFO/COO, you will oversee the tax affairs of two Founders and their related entities, working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all UK tax compliance matters – personal, corporation, partnership, trust and VAT.
• Coordinate tax enquiries and liaise with external advisers.
• Develop and implement tax strategy, including succession planning and forward‑looking tax issues.
• Identify optimisation opportunities, model tax impacts and advise on investment structures.
• Review investment and sale opportunities, providing tax‑efficient structuring advice.
• Collaborate closely with legal, investment and other advisory teams.
• Support ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Qualified chartered tax accountant (CTA or equivalent) with at least 4 years PQE.
• Strong UK tax technical depth across private client, fund and corporate matters.
• Experience in a family office or private client practice is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
• Commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
