About the role
Our client, a fast‑growing professional services organisation in Newbury, is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the finance team. Working hybrid and reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be involved in day‑to‑day financial processing and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and data entry tasks.
- Process staff expenses and supplier invoices.
- Carry out reconciliations and maintain the fixed‑asset register, including depreciation.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare financial reports.
- Raise invoices, run payments and support ad‑hoc finance projects.
Required profile
- Recent A‑Levels graduate, AAT qualified or recent finance graduate.
- Strong Excel skills with a willingness to develop further.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
