Finance Manager – TV Production (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports a leading independent TV drama production company in London. Reporting to the Studio Manager and MD, the Finance Manager will oversee all financial activities across multiple production entities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end management accounts, cash‑flow forecasts and development reporting.
• Manage group company secretarial duties, audit coordination and year‑end close.
• Produce royalty statements, tax loss calculations and financial statements for auditors.
• Provide commercial and financial advice to the Studio Manager and Managing Director.
• Set up new production companies, bank accounts and ensure compliance with BFI/Cultural Test requirements.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis and support talent reviews.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience preparing month‑end management accounts and financial reporting.
• Background in TV production or related entertainment industry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
