Financial Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed recruitment business that is scaling internationally. The Financial Controller will work closely with the Finance Director to manage day‑to‑day finance operations and support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for the whole business.
• Develop KPI reporting, margin analysis and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Manage the audit process and oversee core financial control activities.
• Lead the credit control function and support wider finance operations.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive improvements in systems and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong FP&A and commercial finance capability with excellent analytical skills.
• Suitable for an FP&A Analyst ready to step up or a Management Accountant moving into a more commercial role.
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with sales teams.
• Hands‑on, proactive and comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Naturally curious with a genuine interest in understanding the “why” behind the numbers.
