Financial Controller – Regional/Country Controller (International SaaS)

About the role

This position supports a global financial services organisation that is restructuring its international finance function after a major carve‑out. Based in London with a hybrid working model, the role focuses on overseeing regional and country‑level finance operations across a multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdictional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight for regional and country entities, ensuring accurate month‑end and year‑end reporting.
• Coordinate statutory compliance and local accounting requirements with external advisors.
• Support audit cycles and liaise with auditors across different jurisdictions.
• Assist with the setup of new countries and entities, managing accounting governance and consistency.
• Review local financial reports, identify issues, and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting background with experience in international, regional, or country controller roles.
• Proven experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction finance operations.
• Deep understanding of global accounting principles and GAAP.
• Ability to work effectively with senior finance leadership, external auditors, and tax advisors.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth SaaS or recurring‑revenue environment.
