Fire Stopper – £200 per day contract in Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking experienced Fire Stoppers to join a reputable passive fire protection contractor delivering projects across residential, commercial and public sector sites in Birmingham. The role offers a long‑term contract at a competitive daily rate with weekly pay.

Key responsibilities

• Install fire‑stopping systems in line with industry regulations and project specifications.
• Carry out compartmentation works in occupied and void properties.
• Fit fire batt, mastic systems, fire collars, fire wraps and fire‑rated sealants.
• Seal around service penetrations, ductwork, cable trays and pipework.
• Record completed work with photographs and site documentation.
• Maintain the highest health and safety standards on all sites.

Required profile

• Blue CSCS Card.
• 3–5 years’ experience in fire‑stopping or passive fire protection.
• Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Own van and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
