About the role
We are seeking a freelance PR consultant to lead the launch communications for a new cocktail bar opening in London this April. The role focuses on generating media buzz, securing coverage in lifestyle and hospitality outlets, and positioning the venue as a premier summer destination.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and refine the launch press release.
- Conduct proactive outreach to journalists, editors and influencers.
- Pitch the venue for listings, features and event coverage.
- Coordinate media visits and press attendance at the launch event.
- Manage follow‑ups and incoming press enquiries.
- Monitor, analyse and report on media coverage achieved.
Required profile
- Proven experience in hospitality, food & drink or lifestyle PR.
- Existing relationships with UK and London‑based media outlets.
- Track record of securing coverage for bar, restaurant or venue openings.
