French‑Speaking Part‑Qualified Accountant

About the role

This position is with a fast‑paced, consumer‑focused energy business operating globally. The role offers end‑to‑end ownership of monthly management accounts in a dynamic retail environment, ideal for a part‑qualified accountant who enjoys working closely with numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Produce and review P&L reports, perform variance analysis and provide clear commentary.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, analysing actuals against targets.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive cost control and financial insight.
• Maintain robust financial controls and prepare audit‑ready documentation.
• Assist with ad‑hoc financial analysis and project work as required.

Required profile

• Fluent French language skills.
• Part‑qualified or finalist in ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Strong technical accounting foundation with hands‑on month‑end close experience.
• Detail‑driven, proactive and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communicator who can collaborate with non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience using finance systems for reporting and analysis.
