About the role

Fraser Health is seeking a dedicated Geriatric Medicine Physician to join the team at Surrey Memorial Hospital and the Jim Pattick Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre. This full‑time permanent position focuses on expanding outpatient geriatric services while providing inpatient consultative care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand outpatient geriatric services at the Specialized Seniors Clinic in Surrey.
• Provide inpatient geriatric consults at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
• Participate in academic and teaching activities, including clinical faculty duties with the University of British Columbia.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive senior care.

Required profile

• Eligibility for or active FRCPC in Geriatric Medicine.
• Active full licence to practice medicine in British Columbia.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to apply for a clinical faculty appointment with UBC.
