Graduate Tutor – Maths, English & Science (Part‑time, Manchester)

About the role

Aspire People Limited is recruiting recent graduates to work as Graduate Tutors in secondary schools across Manchester for the academic year starting September 2026. The role involves delivering targeted one‑to‑one and small‑group sessions in Maths, English or Science to support pupils who need additional help.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 and small‑group intervention sessions in the assigned subject area.
• Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and learning styles.
• Support students in improving academic attainment and confidence.
• Build positive, professional relationships that encourage engagement with learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral teams and SEN departments.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback where required.
• Maintain a reliable and consistent presence within the school.

Required profile

• A UK Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background in Maths, English or Science.
• Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching or education experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic and proactive attitude.
• Genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Reliability, professionalism and commitment.
