About the role
Berry Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for a client based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The role offers both day and night 12‑hour shifts on a 4‑on‑4‑off pattern, with training provided for new‑pass and inexperienced drivers.
Key responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely on scheduled routes.
- Adhere to start times (4 am‑6 am) for both day and night shifts.
- Complete a 1‑hour break within each 12‑hour shift.
- Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records.
- Comply with all road safety and company policies.
Required profile
- Valid CPC and TACHO cards.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points and no driving bans.
- New‑pass drivers (under 12 months experience) are welcome.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and 12‑hour patterns.
Required skills
- CPC certification
- TACHO card
- HGV Class 1 licence
What we offer
- PAYE employment with competitive hourly rates (£15.64‑£17.69).
- Overtime at £23.46 per hour.
