About the role
We are seeking an adaptable and personable House Manager to oversee two properties – Hennerton House and Hennerton Old House – while providing comprehensive administrative support across the firm. The role combines routine facilities duties with varied office administration tasks, offering a dynamic work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide front‑of‑house support, manage the reception desk, answer and transfer calls, and welcome visitors and suppliers.
- Maintain a clean, well‑stocked office and kitchen areas, handling post, courier deliveries and international shipments.
- Order and manage office supplies, groceries, catering and event provisions.
- Liaise with building managers, contractors and suppliers; coordinate utilities, insurance renewals and related meetings.
- Supervise property staff (builders, cleaners, gardeners), manage schedules, holidays and payroll in conjunction with Finance.
- Oversee rental operations for Hennerton Old House, manage the rental calendar and resolve property issues.
- Reconcile accounts and credit‑card statements, process expenses via DEXT for front‑of‑house, marketing and finance teams.
- Support marketing activities, maintain attendance trackers, log holidays and sickness, and assist with new‑employee onboarding.
- Lead health‑and‑safety initiatives and assist the IT manager with basic system maintenance.
Profile
- Adaptable, personable individual with a can‑do attitude and keen eye for detail.
Required skills
- Experience in facilities management and office administration.
- Proficiency with DEXT expense‑processing software.
