About the role
Join the renowned Jumeirah Carlton Tower in the heart of Knightsbridge as a Housekeeping Attendant (Room Attendant). You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas in a 5‑star luxury environment.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all assigned areas to the required standard, including guest bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, skirting, furniture, fixtures, fittings, walls and doors, especially during refurbishment programmes.
- Adhere to the work schedule and promptly notify supervisors if tasks cannot be completed as planned.
- Report any complaints, accidents, equipment malfunctions, maintenance faults, safety hazards or suspicious activity to the supervisor or Duty Manager immediately.
- Provide flexible support by undertaking reasonable additional duties and redeploying to other departments or areas when required to meet business and guest service needs.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.
- Assist in maximising departmental productivity.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a 5‑star luxury property, preferably in London.
- Team‑player attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Professional interaction with guests and staff, contributing positively to the hotel atmosphere.
- Experience as a Housekeeping Porter is desirable.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure immaculate presentation of rooms and public areas.
