HR Business Partner - French Speaking

About the role

This position supports a fast‑growing, people‑focused business that is expanding its operations in France. Reporting to the Head of People, the HR Business Partner will work across the UK and France to help shape culture, capability and organisational design as the company scales internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders in the UK and France to deliver strategic and hands‑on HR support.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for French employees, aiding business expansion in France.
• Coach managers on performance, development, engagement and employee‑relations matters.
• Lead complex employee‑relations cases and provide commercially focused guidance.
• Support organisational design, change initiatives and workforce planning.
• Help develop leadership capability and talent across the business.
• Use people data and insights to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Contribute to projects focused on culture, wellbeing and employee experience.
• Champion a people‑first approach and embed company values during periods of growth.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, able to support stakeholders in both regions.
• CIPD qualified (Level 7) or equivalent experience.
• Strong HR generalist and business‑partnering background in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience managing complex employee‑relations and change activities.
• Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
• Pragmatic, commercial, solutions‑focused with an empathetic leadership style.
• Comfortable balancing strategic HR work with hands‑on execution.
• Passionate about culture, development and helping teams grow.
