About the role
We are seeking a People Director to sit at the heart of our organisation, partnering with the business to shape people strategy, resolve employee relations issues and drive learning and development. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will lead a small business‑partnering team and work closely with People Ops, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience.
Key responsibilities
- Build trusted, commercial partnerships with leaders across the business.
- Support managers with people challenges, organisational design and team effectiveness.
- Coach and develop leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities.
- Lead, mentor and grow the business‑partnering team.
- Own all employee‑relations matters, ensuring fair, legally compliant outcomes.
- Design and deliver learning and development programmes aligned with commercial priorities.
Required profile
- Significant senior People/HR business‑partnering experience in a fast‑growing company.
- Strong employee‑relations expertise with deep knowledge of UK employment law.
- Proven ability to coach, influence and build trust with leaders.
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Demonstrated capability to design and deliver L&D programmes.
- Commercially minded with clear, direct communication skills.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
