About the role
This is an invite‑only locum position for doctors in training within NHS Highland. The role is part of the medical staff bank and provides short‑term clinical assignments across the Highland and Argyll & Bute region. Only candidates who have received a unique invitation code may apply.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake clinical duties as a resident doctor on a locum basis.
- Deliver safe, high‑quality patient care in accordance with NHS standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a variety of hospital settings.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to local policies.
Required profile
- Currently employed as a doctor in training within NHS Highland.
- Possession of a valid invitation code received by email.
- Willingness to work on an ad‑hoc, as‑needed basis.
- Ability to complete the application through the Jobtrain system without a CV upload.
Required skills
- Clinical competence appropriate to the level of training.
- Familiarity with NHS Scotland clinical guidelines.
