IT Support Technician – Windows 11 Laptop Refresh

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join a Windows 11 laptop refresh programme at our Corsham site. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will deploy new devices, provide desk‑side assistance and ensure a smooth transition for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Windows 11 laptops and related hardware.
• Perform device imaging, staging and user setup.
• Migrate user data, profiles and applications.
• Provide desk‑side support during the rollout and address user queries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Ensure devices comply with organisational security and compliance standards.
• Log installations, incidents and escalate issues when required.

Required profile

• Active SC clearance is mandatory.
• Proven experience in IT deployment, desktop support or rollout projects.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 environments.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware builds, imaging and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
