Junior Investment Analyst

About the role

Melburg is seeking a highly motivated Junior Investment Analyst to join its London‑based investment team. This role offers an ambitious individual the chance to develop a career in real estate investment and development, working directly with senior members across acquisitions, underwriting, development appraisal, asset management and transaction execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support evaluation of new acquisition and development opportunities across target sectors.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including acquisition underwriting, cash‑flow forecasting and development appraisals.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and sector‑specific due diligence.
• Analyse investment performance, risks and sensitivities to inform decision‑making.
• Prepare investment committee papers, presentations and memoranda.
• Assist transaction execution, including due diligence, legal coordination and financial analysis.
• Liaise with external advisers such as agents, lawyers, consultants and lenders.
• Support ongoing asset‑management initiatives, monitor performance against business plans and assist with budgeting, forecasting and portfolio reporting.
• Monitor market trends, investment activity and macro‑economic developments, maintaining internal databases and pipeline trackers.

Required profile

• Strong interest in real estate investment and development.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and a proactive approach.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.

• Financial modeling
