Lead Data Analyst – Azure Data Factory & Snowflake

About the role

HCL is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to head technical teams delivering data solutions on Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks. Based in the City of London, you will ensure high‑performance pipelines that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in designing, building and maintaining Snowflake, ADF and Databricks pipelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise data pipelines for quality, reliability and performance.
• Integrate data solutions with existing applications and cross‑functional systems.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and embed best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical teams in data engineering projects.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and project management.

Required skills

• Snowflake – data modelling, querying and performance optimisation.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) – data integration and orchestration.
