About the role

Babel, a multinational technology consultancy, is looking for a Project Leader to support financial IT projects. The role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring timelines are met, and supervising user acceptance testing outside regular market hours.

Key responsibilities

• Update daily task progress and monitor the project schedule to guarantee deadline compliance.
• Document project artefacts, prepare clear status reports, and record meeting minutes.
• Supervise UAT sessions during evenings, weekends or nights as required.
• Control project budgets, manage supplier relationships and handle approval flows.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in financial operations, control rooms, audit or IT finance project support.
• Degree or current studies in Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Systems with a business‑process focus.
• Preferred certifications: CAPM (PMI) or basic Scrum Master.
• Availability to work under fixed delivery dates and to perform testing outside normal market hours.

Required skills

• Project management tools: Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project.
• Microsoft Office: Excel (intermediate/advanced) and PowerPoint.
• Collaboration platforms: Slack, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Google Workspace.
• Diagramming tools: Visio, Lucidchart, Miro.
• Basic knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional Waterfall/PMBOK methodology.
