Legal Counsel (Global Pharma Services)

About the role

Clinigen is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its global legal team based in Weybridge. You will provide high‑quality, commercially focused legal support across the company’s worldwide operations, working in a hybrid model (three days onsite, two days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely legal advice aligned with business objectives and departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices in all jurisdictions where Clinigen operates.
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements with suppliers and customers.
• Lead commercial contracting matters for one or more business units, managing negotiations from start to finish.
• Handle diverse legal matters including commercial contracts, data protection and privacy, dispute resolution, and intellectual property.

Required profile

• Law degree (essential).
• Knowledge of English law or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Business‑level fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Self‑motivated, well‑organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with senior leadership.
