About the role

We are looking for a Lifeguard to join Places Leisure, delivering safe and enjoyable swimming experiences in a vibrant community setting. You will work alongside a friendly team, ensuring the wellbeing of all pool users while promoting a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise customers and fellow lifeguards throughout the swimming and pool facilities.
• Maintain health and safety standards, overseeing the safe operation of the building and pool area.
• Monitor water conditions and enforce pool rules to prevent accidents.
• Provide first‑class customer service, addressing enquiries and assisting users professionally.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the pool environment.

Required profile

• Hold a valid National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive safety mindset.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
