LPG Market Analyst – Global Trading Team

About the role

We are looking for an experienced LPG Market Analyst to join our global trading team. The role will deliver market intelligence and analytical support to drive trading decisions, monitoring global LPG market developments and providing actionable insights. The position is based in London (or Singapore).

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse global LPG market fundamentals, including supply, demand, pricing, trade flows, freight and regulatory developments.
• Collect, validate and interpret market and trade data from multiple sources to generate timely insights.
• Develop, enhance and maintain supply‑demand models, forecasting tools and analytical frameworks.
• Produce regular market reports, presentations and ad‑hoc analysis for traders and senior management.
• Track vessel movements and trade flows to identify changes in market dynamics and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with traders and fellow analysts to evaluate market developments and contribute to trading strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex market information clearly.
• Genuine interest in global energy markets, economics, geopolitics and commodity trading.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and commercially minded approach.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in an international trading environment.
• Critical thinking and data‑driven mindset focused on delivering commercial insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with statistical or analytical software such as R, MATLAB or VBA.
• Ability to work with trade data, visualization platforms and forecasting tools.
