Market Research Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Market Research Specialist to deliver in‑depth insights on the CFD, online trading and broader fintech markets. The role supports strategic decision‑making by analysing competitors, industry trends and emerging opportunities for our products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Research the CFD, online trading and wider fintech market.
• Monitor competitors, including products, pricing, platforms and market positioning.
• Identify industry and client trends, opportunities and potential risks.
• Produce competitor analysis, market reports and management insights.
• Support product development, launches and new market opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Commercial and Compliance teams on research requirements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the CFD/online trading industry and its business model.
• Good understanding of products, clients and the competitive environment.
• Excellent research, analytical and commercial‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to translate data and market information into practical business insights.
• Strong written, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• UK Level 7 qualification or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Analytics, Fintech or a related field.
• Internal applicants should already demonstrate a solid grasp of the business and commercial landscape.
