Marketing & Business Development Manager – Global Law Firm

About the role

The firm is seeking an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead the growth of its internationally recognised Commodities practice. Working closely with partners and the central marketing team, you will shape and deliver strategy across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Commodities group’s business development and marketing strategy.
• Plan and manage international campaigns, budgets and priority initiatives.
• Support London‑based partners and fee earners with day‑to‑day business development activities.
• Drive cross‑practice and cross‑border collaboration.
• Research market trends, clients and targets to identify new opportunities.
• Produce high‑impact pitches, RFPs and capability statements.
• Manage thought‑leadership, PR, events, directories and digital content.
• Track activity, ROI and produce best‑practice reporting.

Required profile

• Degree‑educated with experience in professional services, preferably legal.
• Strong business development and marketing background in a complex, international environment.
• Understanding of the Commodities sector is advantageous.
• Highly organised, commercially minded and delivery‑focused.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
