About the role

Join the award‑winning De Vere Tortworth Court as a Meeting & Events Operations Floor Manager. You will own the on‑day delivery of weddings, banquets and special events, ensuring every detail runs smoothly from set‑up to breakdown.

Key responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of weddings, banquets and special events.
• Lead and direct the banqueting team during live service.
• Set up event spaces, oversee room turnaround and manage clear‑down.
• Act as the main operational contact for clients and suppliers on the day.
• Manage timing, logistics and service flow to guarantee seamless delivery.

Required profile

• Proven operational leadership experience in weddings, banqueting or large‑scale events.
• Confidence managing teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm, decisive and solution‑focused during live events.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varied shift patterns.

Required skills

What we offer

• £29,100 per year (experience dependent) plus a monthly service‑charge share (£150‑£250).
