National Head of Facilities – Multi‑Site Growth

About the role

Our client, a professional services firm based in the West Midlands, is expanding from a single site to a national footprint. They need a National Head of Facilities to design, build and lead the facilities function that will support a twelve‑fold increase in physical space over the next two years.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the facilities strategy across all current and future sites.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and business continuity at a national level.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts and procurement for facilities services.
• Oversee budgets, capital projects and fit‑out programmes for new locations.
• Build and restructure the facilities team, hiring and defining processes as the estate grows.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for facilities matters, working closely with the board and senior leadership.
• Travel nationally to oversee site openings in Scotland, Manchester and the wider Midlands.

Required profile

• Proven senior facilities leadership experience, preferably at Head of Facilities level.
• Background in a multi‑site professional services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build or significantly grow a facilities function, including new site openings and fit‑outs.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts and procurement with national responsibility.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior executives.

• Competitive salary between £70,000 and £80,000 per year.
