About the role
Join Specsavers in Hailsham as an Optical Assistant Apprentice and start a rewarding career in eye care. You will work in a vibrant store environment, supporting customers and learning the fundamentals of optical services while earning a full‑time wage.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers with eye examinations and product enquiries.
- Maintain and prepare testing rooms for eye care appointments.
- Support the optical team in fitting and dispensing spectacles and hearing aids.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients.
- Help keep the store tidy and stocked with optical products.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for helping others.
- Strong listening and communication abilities.
- Team‑player who enjoys a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in optics.
