Part-Time Insolvency Practitioner (Volume IVAs)

About the role
This part‑time appointment offers an experienced Insolvency Practitioner the chance to manage a high‑volume portfolio of Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs). The role can be performed from an office, a hybrid setting, or fully remotely across the UK, providing flexibility while maintaining statutory responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Take statutory responsibility for a large portfolio of IVA cases, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory standards.
- Review and approve IVA proposals, modifications, and key statutory documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to case administrators, managers and senior staff.
- Assess complex or high‑risk cases and deliver appropriate recommendations.
- Chair or oversee creditors' decision procedures when required.
- Maintain relationships with regulators, creditors and other stakeholders.
- Support internal compliance reviews, quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Current Insolvency Practitioner Licence.
- JIEB qualification.
- Significant experience acting as an Appointment Insolvency Practitioner within the volume IVA sector.
- Extensive knowledge of personal insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong technical and compliance expertise.
