Part‑Time Level 3 Teaching Assistant – ARMS Department

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the ARMS department from September. You will work within a supportive, family‑school ethos, helping pupils who need additional support to access learning and develop key skills.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning activities in whole‑class and small‑group settings.
• Assist with emotional regulation and wellbeing support.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored strategies for individual needs.
• Promote independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
• Contribute to a safe, calm and inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Caring, patient and flexible approach.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Reliability and commitment to supporting children with additional needs.
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
