PAT Tester – Electrical Compliance Specialist

About the role
Join a respected electrical compliance and testing firm with over 40 years of experience. As a PAT Tester you will travel to commercial sites across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands, ensuring portable appliances meet the latest safety regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform portable appliance testing on large commercial sites, typically visiting 1‑2 sites per day.
- Record test results and issue compliance certificates.
- Travel to additional sites when required, with extra bonuses for three or more sites in a day.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to site personnel.
Required profile
- Residency in or around Birmingham preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to pass a DBS check.
- Strong customer‑service orientation while on site.
Required skills
- C&G 2377 PAT certification.
- Experience in portable appliance testing.
What we offer
- Basic salary of £27,000 with realistic OTE of £38‑£40k.
- Bonus scheme per test (15p‑35p) after daily targets.
- Travel allowance, van, phone, fuel card and testing equipment.
- Company share ownership after 12 months.
