Picker

About the role

As a Picker at Booker in Bristol you will help ensure customers receive the products they need quickly and efficiently. You’ll work across different store areas – from shelf‑stocking to tills and delivery handling – so no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using a handheld terminal.
• Check product quality, shelf life and packaging integrity before delivery.
• Process deliveries to meet targets while maintaining a high standard of service.
• Communicate politely with delivery staff and report any discrepancies to the manager.
• Assist with shelf‑filling, stock replenishment and occasional till duties.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with a passion for excellent customer service.
• Willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Required skills

• Handheld terminal operation.
