Plasterer – Mobile role in Poole

About the role

We are looking for a skilled plasterer to join our social housing maintenance team covering Poole and the surrounding Bournemouth area. The role offers a mobile, full‑time position where you will work directly in occupied homes, providing a stable and autonomous work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal plastering repairs, including skimming, patching and full wall or ceiling finishes.
• Perform damp and mould remedial works as required.
• Maintain high‑quality standards while working in occupied properties.
• Manage your own stock and materials using the company‑provided fuel card and van.
• Use a PDA or mobile device to receive jobs and update status in real‑time.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent time‑served experience.
• Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness training.
• Experience in social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Own tools preferred and strong customer‑service skills for tenant interaction.
