Procurement Manager – IT Hardware & Software

About the role

TRINCOS is seeking a commercially driven Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing, purchasing and supplier strategy for IT hardware, electronics and software sold through its e‑commerce platform. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on purchasing to ensure product availability, competitive pricing and strong margins.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, source and procure a wide range of IT products—including laptops, servers, networking equipment, software licences and peripherals—for both standard online listings and custom enterprise orders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, manufacturers, wholesalers and authorized channel partners on a local and international level.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranty conditions and volume discounts.
• Monitor market trends, product lifecycles, end‑of‑life notices and new product launches to keep the catalogue up‑to‑date.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing files, product catalogs and procurement documentation.
• Resolve supplier issues such as delayed shipments, incorrect deliveries or warranty claims.
• Support stock planning, margin performance and category growth through data‑driven commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing of IT hardware and software.
• Strong market knowledge of technology products and vendor ecosystems.
• Excellent commercial judgment and ability to make strategic sourcing decisions.
• Hands‑on approach with the capacity to manage day‑to‑day purchasing operations.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with both internal teams and external suppliers.
