Procurement Specialist

About the role

This position is with a large, complex professional services and technology business undergoing procurement transformation and growth. It offers an early‑career professional the chance to develop across sourcing, supplier management, contracts, data, risk and process improvement in a high‑profile commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support contract administration, maintaining accurate records and tracking changes.
• Provide clear analysis on supplier, spend and performance data to help stakeholders make better commercial decisions.
• Support supplier performance management through KPI tracking, reporting and contract data analysis.
• Run lower‑complexity sourcing activities, including RFQs, supplier comparison and selection support.
• Monitor supplier risks such as resilience, financial stability, sustainability and broader market factors.

Profile

• Analytical, organised and commercially curious.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Interest in developing a long‑term procurement career, ideally progressing towards CIPS/MCIPS.
