Remote Lawyer – Contract (10-40 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to work remotely on a contract basis, contributing 10‑40 hours per week. You will help train and improve AI legal tools by reviewing and annotating a wide variety of legal documents.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents to provide expert input for AI training.
• Validate legal content for accuracy, consistency, and jurisdictional compliance.
• Identify nuances in legal language, drafting styles, and substantive issues across multiple specialties.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of legal professionals to enhance data quality.
• Produce clear written explanations, rationales, and clarifications for complex legal topics.
• Offer domain‑specific insights that guide AI tool development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD), LLB, or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Significant, proven expertise in one or more legal domains (e.g., corporate, IP, litigation, contract, regulatory).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated track record of high‑quality legal analysis and drafting.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
