Resident Liaison Officer – Short‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) for a four‑week kitchen and bathroom regeneration project across residential properties in Birmingham. This temporary position bridges residents, site management, and subcontractors to ensure smooth access and high resident satisfaction during internal refurbishments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑work surveys and guide residents through the installation process.
• Serve as the primary contact for resident queries, concerns, and special access needs.
• Issue advance‑notice letters and daily updates to keep residents informed.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager and subcontractors to resolve access issues or delays.
• Log progress, complaints, and handovers using site‑management software or paperwork.

Required profile

• Valid Green CSCS Card.
• Proven experience as an RLO on social housing or domestic refurbishment schemes, preferably kitchens and bathrooms.
• Excellent interpersonal, conflict‑resolution and problem‑solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
