Resident Services Assistant – Build-to-Rent

About the role

We are looking for two enthusiastic Resident Services Assistants to join a leading Build‑to‑Rent development in Birmingham. You will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, delivering a high‑quality front‑of‑house experience and supporting leasing, community events and day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for residents, visitors and contractors.
• Handle resident enquiries, service requests and communications.
• Support leasing activities, apartment viewings and resident onboarding.
• Manage parcel reception and front‑desk duties.
• Assist with resident events, community engagement and social‑media initiatives.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and encourage positive online reviews.
• Maintain communal areas to high standards and support apartment inspections, move‑ins and move‑outs.
• Follow health & safety and operational procedures across the development.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer‑facing role (e.g., Build‑to‑Rent, hospitality, property, retail or luxury service).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, positive and professional attitude.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Comfortable working flexibly within a rota covering operational hours.
