Sales Assistant – Outdoor Retail

About the role

Join a passionate outdoor retail team as a Sales Assistant (Customer Advisor). You will help customers find the right gear, receive specialist training and enjoy a supportive, active work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable shopping experience and advise customers on outdoor equipment.
• Maintain store presentation, keep shelves tidy and ensure the stockroom is organised.
• Learn and perform specialist services such as boot fitting, gait analysis and rucksack fitting.
• Support the store’s daily operations, including weekend shifts.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Required profile

• Enjoys helping people and providing excellent customer service.
• Communicates well with a variety of customers.
• Organised and able to multitask.
• Eager to learn about outdoor activities and related products.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of outdoor gear and equipment.
• Ability to learn specialist fitting techniques.
