Seasonal Receptionist – Front‑of‑House Lead

About the role

We are seeking a charismatic Receptionist to be the face of PYRO during its bustling summer season. Working on the garden bar and terrace, you will welcome guests, manage the flow of the dining room and ensure every arrival feels like a homecoming.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, handling reservations and walk‑ins with a warm, taverna‑style hospitality.
• Maintain floor plans and optimise guest flow on the high‑traffic terrace.
• Drive revenue by maximising covers and managing the booking “books”.
• Operate industry‑standard reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, OpenTable or ResDiary.
• Liaise between the kitchen and floor team to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
• Provide proactive leadership throughout the May‑mid‑September contract period.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering world‑class hospitality in high‑volume, premium venues.
• Strong organisational skills with a track record of managing reservations and floor layouts.
• Commercial awareness to balance guest experience with revenue goals.
• Confident phone manner and ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen and service staff.
• Full availability for the entire seasonal contract.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SevenRooms, OpenTable or ResDiary reservation systems.
